Corporate event transport in Barcelona goes wrong in small ways: a guest waiting at the wrong door, a coach that cannot reach the entrance, a driver who does not know the programme. A chauffeured service for corporate events is mostly planning, and that is where I put the time.
What a chauffeured service for corporate events covers
I run corporate events as a driver at your disposal. One vehicle, or several, stay with your group for the hours you book. Typical jobs:
- Moving a delegation between the airport, the hotels and the venue.
- Client days with a morning meeting, a lunch and an afternoon visit.
- Evening transfers to a dinner or a gala and back to the hotels.
- Offsites and team days outside the city, such as Montserrat or a Penedès wine day.
- Executive guests who need a quiet car between meetings. See executive transport.
If your event is a single large show, read the page on the Mobile World Congress. For smaller private occasions, see event chauffeur service.
Vehicles and prices
Hire by the hour has a 6-hour minimum per day, no maximum, and extra hours are charged at the hourly rate. All prices are in euros and include VAT.
| Vehicle | Passengers | 6 hours | 8 hours | Each extra hour |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class | up to 3 | €470 | €630 | €80 |
| Mercedes S-Class | up to 3 | €745 | €990 | €125 |
| Mercedes V-Class | up to 7 | €470 | €630 | €80 |
| Mercedes Sprinter | up to 16 | €610 | €785 | €90 |
| Minibus | up to 33 | €685 | €900 | €110 |
| Coach | up to 60 | €685 | €900 | €110 |
The S-Class is booked by the hour only. Several days, other dates and routes outside the city are quoted on request.
Choosing the right vehicle for the group
For corporate groups I follow a simple scale. Up to 3 executives go in the E-Class or, for the most formal setting, the S-Class. A team of four to seven fits the V-Class at the same hourly price as the E-Class. Up to 16 people go in the Sprinter. Bigger groups use the minibus or the coach.
When the group is mixed, I often suggest two vehicles rather than one large one: a V-Class for the senior guests on the direct route, and a Sprinter for the rest. The price is the sum of the two bookings, and each guest group arrives when it should.
How I plan an event day
A good event day is decided the week before. These are the points I ask the organiser:
- The programme. Start and end times, venues and any fixed arrival slots.
- The guest list. Number of people, who travels together, who travels alone.
- The pick-up points. Hotels, airport terminal, office address.
- The contact on the day. One person with a phone, so the driver does not need to reach each guest.
- Luggage and materials. Roll-ups, boxes and gifts count as luggage.
With this I send a short written plan: vehicle, driver, pick-up times and meeting points. The organiser can forward it to the guests.
Airport and station arrivals
Arrivals are where a corporate programme starts, so I treat them with care. The airport transfer between El Prat and Barcelona has a fixed price for each vehicle. For a delegation landing on several flights, I suggest a meeting point and a time window rather than one pick-up time, and I adapt to what the flights do. Flight and terminal information is on the Aena website.
For guests from a cruise ship, see the cruise port transfer.
Venues in and around Barcelona
Most corporate events happen at a few places: the Fira Barcelona exhibition grounds, hotels in the centre or along the coast, and venues in the Eixample or the old town. The Fira Barcelona site gives venue and event information, and I check access for drop-off before the day. Some streets in the old town are pedestrian, and the vehicle stops at the nearest practical point. I tell you where that is when I send the plan.
Conferences, offsites and gala dinners
Different corporate events need different transport, and I plan each in its own way.
Conferences. The traffic is concentrated at the start and end of the day. I suggest staggered pick-ups and a fixed drop-off point near the venue, so that guests are not left waiting at the entrance. Vehicles that shuttle between the hotels and the venue are booked by the hour and loop through the busy times.
Offsites and team days. A group leaves the city for a day. The coach or the minibus carries everyone together, and the plan includes the return time and any stops. See coach hire for the larger vehicles.
Gala dinners. Guests arrive within a short window and leave at different times. A mix of vehicles works best: a few cars for guests who leave early and a larger vehicle for the final departure. I agree the end time with you, and the booking stays open for the hours you reserve.
Why one provider for the whole day helps
Using a single provider for a day of transport removes the handover points. The driver knows the programme and the next stop, the organiser has one contact, and a change of plan is a phone call, not a new booking. If an executive session runs late, the vehicle waits and the extra time is charged at the hourly rate, not at a penalty.
How to book
- Open the quote form below.
- Enter the date, venue, pick-up points, group size and the hours you expect.
- Add the programme if you have it. A rough timetable is enough.
- I reply by e-mail or WhatsApp with the vehicle, the price and a draft plan.
- Confirm, and send the final guest numbers a few days before.
For the whole list, see prices. To talk before you send a request, use the contact page. You can also compare with the business chauffeur page if your need is a recurring executive driver, and Visit Barcelona has information on city events and venues.
