If you are looking for a Mercedes E-Class chauffeur in Barcelona, you probably want a business-class car, a driver who is on time and a price you know before you travel. That is what this page covers: who the E-Class suits, what it costs and how to book it.
Who the Mercedes E-Class is for
The E-Class is my default car for one, two or three passengers. It is the car I would pick for an executive car with a driver in Barcelona when the group is small and the schedule is tight: a morning of meetings, an airport run with a stop at the hotel, or a dinner across town.
It seats up to 3 passengers, which is worth planning around. Three adults with large suitcases fill the boot quickly, so tell me the number of bags when you request a quote. If the luggage does not fit comfortably, the Mercedes V-Class with a driver costs the same for transfers and hourly hire and takes up to 7 passengers.
Typical uses I see for the E-Class:
- Airport arrivals and departures for one to three people
- Business days with several appointments in Barcelona
- Evening events, dinners and theatre nights
- Day trips to Sitges, Montserrat or Girona for a couple or a small family
Mercedes E-Class chauffeur prices
All prices are in euros and include VAT. The template shows the full table on this page; here are the figures that matter for the E-Class.
- Airport transfer between Barcelona-El Prat and Barcelona: €80
- Driver at your disposal, 6 hours (the minimum per day): €470
- Driver at your disposal, 8 hours: €630
- Each additional hour: €80
Fixed transfers from Barcelona: €135 to Sitges, €135 to Montserrat and €210 to Girona. Anything that is not in the table, including other destinations, dates and several-day bookings, is quoted on request. I do not guess a price: you get a figure in writing before you confirm.
For the whole rate card, including the S-Class, Sprinter, minibus and coach, see the chauffeur service prices page.
Airport transfer with the E-Class
The airport run is the trip I price most often. Between El Prat and the city the E-Class costs €80, and the price does not change with the time of day or with traffic. Give me your flight number, terminal and the hotel or address, and the pick-up is planned around your arrival.
Details on the route, the drive and what to expect at arrivals are on the Barcelona airport transfer page. For passenger information at the airport itself, the operator’s site is Aena Barcelona-El Prat.
E-Class by the hour: a day with a driver
Hourly hire suits days where you do not know the exact route in advance. You get the car and the driver for the time you book, and you decide the stops as you go. The minimum is 6 hours per day, with no maximum, and extra hours are €80 each.
A few ways clients use it:
- Meeting day. Hotel to office, office to lunch, lunch to a second meeting. The car waits and you do not look for a taxi.
- Shopping or sightseeing day. The driver drops you at the door and collects you when you are ready.
- Day trip. Barcelona to Montserrat or Sitges and back, with time on site.
If the plan is mostly a series of appointments, read about the business chauffeur service. If you want to plan a day around the hours rather than the stops, the chauffeur by the hour page explains how the clock works.
E-Class or S-Class or V-Class?
| Car | Passengers | Best choice when |
|---|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class | up to 3 | One to three travellers, standard luggage, business or airport |
| Mercedes S-Class | up to 3 | You want the top car, hourly hire only |
| Mercedes V-Class | up to 7 | Four or more people, or more luggage |
The E-Class and the V-Class share the same rates for the airport transfer and for hourly hire, so the choice is about space, not price. The S-Class is booked by the hour only; see the Mercedes S-Class chauffeur page.
What to tell me so the quote is exact
People sometimes search for a particular model year or feature of the E-Class chauffeur. What I can give you is the car, the price and the booking terms in writing. If a specific feature matters to you, mention it in the form and I tell you honestly whether I can offer it.
The details that let me answer in one message:
- Date and start time. For hourly hire, also the time you expect to finish.
- Pick-up address. A hotel name is enough; for a private address, the street and number.
- Stops. List them in order. I check that the plan fits the hours you want to book.
- Passengers and luggage. Three passengers is the limit of the E-Class, and the boot is shared with the bags.
- Anything that changes the plan, such as a flight that may land late or a meeting that may overrun.
Parking, waiting and pick-up points
Part of the value of a driver is that you stop thinking about the car. Outside a hotel, an office or a restaurant the driver handles the stopping and the waiting, and you walk out to a car that is ready. At the airport I plan the pick-up around your arrival; for the practical side of arrivals, use the operator’s page, Aena Barcelona-El Prat.
In the city centre, an E-Class is easier to place than a larger vehicle. If you have a meeting in a narrow street in the old town, the driver will drop you at the nearest practical point and wait nearby. That is one more reason I suggest the E-Class for business days.
Executive transport: the wider picture
The E-Class is one part of a service that also covers corporate programmes, congress weeks and event nights. If you are organising transport for several guests, the executive transport page explains how I combine vehicles, so a delegation of eight can arrive in a V-Class and an E-Class rather than a single larger vehicle.
For events, the question is usually timing rather than price. Tell me the schedule and I check that the hours you book cover the waiting time between drop-off and collection. Hourly hire counts the waiting, which is why a minimum of 6 hours suits most event days.
How to book
- Open the quote form below.
- Enter the date, start time, pick-up address and destination or the stops you expect.
- Add the number of passengers and bags.
- I reply by e-mail or WhatsApp with the confirmed price. Fixed routes are answered from the price table; anything else is quoted on request.
If you are comparing options before you decide, the private driver in Barcelona page explains how a typical booking works from first message to pick-up. Official visitor information for planning your days is on Visit Barcelona.
