Business travel in Barcelona is mostly logistics: a flight that lands at a fixed time, meetings across the city, a dinner that runs late. A business chauffeur car service removes the variables. You have a vehicle waiting, a driver who stays with the car, and a price you know before you travel. This page sets out how I run it, what it costs, and how to book.
Business chauffeur car service in Barcelona: what you can book
There are two basic formats, and most business trips use one or both.
- Transfers. A fixed price between Barcelona airport and the city, for arrivals and departures.
- A driver at your disposal. The car and driver stay with you for a set number of hours, for meetings, site visits and client entertainment.
Anything outside those, such as other destinations, several days or a programme with many stops, I quote on request.
Airport transfers for business travellers
The airport to or from Barcelona has a fixed price, VAT included:
| Vehicle | Passengers | Airport to or from Barcelona |
|---|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class | up to 3 | €80 |
| Mercedes V-Class | up to 7 | €80 |
| Mercedes Sprinter | up to 16 | €200 |
| Minibus | up to 33 | €320 |
| Coach | up to 60 | €320 |
For flight information use the official Aena Barcelona-El Prat page. The full airport service is on the Barcelona airport transfer page. If you are moving a larger team from the airport, the Sprinter airport transfer page covers the group vehicles.
A chauffeur by the hour for meetings
The hourly format suits days with several appointments. Hire has a 6-hour minimum per day, no maximum, and extra hours at the hourly rate.
| Vehicle | 6 hours | 8 hours | Each extra hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class | €470 | €630 | €80 |
| Mercedes S-Class | €745 | €990 | €125 |
| Mercedes V-Class | €470 | €630 | €80 |
| Mercedes Sprinter | €610 | €785 | €90 |
| Minibus | €685 | €900 | €110 |
| Coach | €685 | €900 | €110 |
The S-Class is booked by the hour only. See chauffeur by the hour for how the hours are counted, and the prices page for the full table.
Executive chauffeur: which vehicle?
For a single executive or a pair, the E-Class is the standard choice. The S-Class gives more rear space when the journey is also working time. A senior visitor with an assistant and luggage often prefers the V-Class: up to seven seats, space for cases, and the same hourly rate as the E-Class. For the broader executive offer, see executive transport.
Teams, delegations and roadshows
A group of four to seven fits the V-Class, so the team arrives together rather than in several cars. Larger delegations are better in the Sprinter (up to 16), the minibus (up to 33) or the coach (up to 60). For a multi-day programme, send me the schedule and I quote the vehicles and drivers needed.
Trade fairs and congresses create their own pressure points around the exhibition halls. Read the Mobile World Congress page for how I handle that event, and the corporate event chauffeur page for conferences and client programmes.
A typical business day
Here is how a day with a driver at your disposal usually runs, to show where the hours go.
Morning
The driver collects you at the hotel at the agreed time. If you land that morning, the first leg can be the airport transfer, and the hourly hire starts when you tell me. The driver waits at the first meeting, with the vehicle close to the entrance when the venue allows it.
Midday
Lunch meetings, site visits and calls between appointments are when a driver is most useful. You work in the back while the car moves, or you step out and the car is nearby when you finish. Parking in the centre is difficult, so a driver who stays with the vehicle saves time.
Evening
Client dinners and receptions tend to overrun, and the service runs 24/7, so a late finish or a 5 a.m. flight is not a problem. Extra hours are charged at the hourly rate, so there is no surprise at the end. Tell me the likely finish time and I plan the last leg, including the airport transfer the next morning.
Corporate accounts and repeat travel
If your company travels to Barcelona regularly, send the usual pattern: the number of visitors, the typical trips and the vehicle you prefer. I keep it on file so each quote is quick. I do not invent discounts, and the prices on this page apply. Several vehicles or several days are quoted on request.
For companies organising a conference or sales event, see the corporate event chauffeur page. For the city’s main trade event, see Mobile World Congress. Airport and city information is available from Visit Barcelona and the Port of Barcelona for cruise arrivals.
Cruise and port arrivals
Business travellers also arrive by sea, for example executives joining a ship or visiting the port. The port and the cruise terminals have their own pick-up points and rules, so check the Port of Barcelona site for your terminal, and see the cruise port transfer page for how I handle them. The cruise port to or from Barcelona is priced exactly like the airport run: €80 in the E-Class or V-Class, €200 in the Sprinter and €320 in the minibus or coach, VAT included. Tell me the ship and the arrival time in the form.
Questions to settle before you travel
Before a trip, it helps to answer four questions. Who is travelling, and how many bags? Where does each leg start and end? How long will the car be needed each day? Is the schedule fixed, or are meetings likely to move? With those answers, the quote is quick, and a change on the day is easy to absorb because the driver is already at your disposal.
What I commit to
I keep the service simple on purpose. The price you are quoted includes VAT. The driver is at your disposal for the hours you book. If your plan changes, tell me early and I adjust the quote. There are no hidden extras to explain later. For the booking conditions, see the terms and conditions.
How to book
- Open the quote form below or use the contact page.
- Enter the date, the pick-up address or flight, and the number of passengers and bags.
- Say whether you need a transfer or a driver by the hour, and for how many hours.
- I reply by e-mail or WhatsApp with the vehicle and price, VAT included.
- Confirm and the booking is made.
For the general overview of the service, see chauffeur hire in Barcelona.
