If you need a chauffeur service in Barcelona, the useful questions are simple: what does it cost, which vehicle fits the group, and how fast can I get an answer. This page answers the first two and points you to the right page for your trip. The quote form does the third.
The service runs 24/7, every day of the week. I run the business myself. That keeps the process short: you send the details, I check the route and the vehicle, and the quote comes back by e-mail or WhatsApp.
What a chauffeur service in Barcelona covers
Most requests fall into four groups.
- Airport transfers. El Prat to the city, to the cruise port, or out to the coast. See the Barcelona airport transfer page for the fixed prices.
- Hourly hire. A driver and car at your disposal for meetings, shopping, a congress day or a run of appointments. The page on chauffeur by the hour explains how the hours are counted.
- Business and events. Executives, delegations, conferences and corporate evenings. I cover this under business chauffeur and event chauffeur service.
- Day trips and longer transfers. Sitges, Montserrat, Girona, Andorra, Valencia and further. Prices for several routes are in the table; the rest are quoted.
If you searched for a car service, a private chauffeur or a limo service, you are in the right place. They all describe the same thing: a professional driver, a clean Mercedes and a price agreed before the trip.
Fleet and passenger numbers
| Vehicle | Passengers |
|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class | up to 3 |
| Mercedes S-Class | up to 3 |
| Mercedes V-Class | up to 7 |
| Mercedes Sprinter minibus | up to 16 |
| Minibus | up to 33 |
| Coach | up to 60 |
For one to three people I would book the E-Class. Add luggage or a fourth traveller and the V-Class is the practical step up. The S-Class is for guests who want the most comfortable car, and it is booked by the hour only. Larger groups go in the Sprinter, the minibus or the coach: see Sprinter van with driver, minibus with driver and coach hire.
Prices you can plan with
Prices are in euros and include VAT. These are the figures I can fix in advance.
- Airport to or from Barcelona: E-Class €80, V-Class €80, Sprinter €200, minibus €320, coach €320.
- Cruise port to or from Barcelona: the same prices as the airport run.
- Driver at your disposal, 6 hours: E-Class €470, S-Class €745, V-Class €470, Sprinter €610, minibus €685, coach €685.
- Driver at your disposal, 8 hours: E-Class €630, S-Class €990, V-Class €630, Sprinter €785, minibus €900, coach €900.
Hourly hire has a 6-hour minimum per day and no maximum. Extra hours are charged at the hourly rate. Anything that is not in the table, such as other destinations, several days or an event programme, is quoted on request. The full list is on the prices page.
Trips from Barcelona and the airport
The routes people ask about most:
- Barcelona airport to Sitges and Barcelona to Sitges
- Airport to the cruise port for ship days
- Airport to PortAventura and the Costa Daurada
- Airport to Lloret de Mar and the Costa Brava
- Barcelona to Andorra for the mountains and the ski resorts
- Private tours with a chauffeur for a day of sightseeing
The cruise port, whether to Barcelona city or the airport, has a fixed price, the same as the airport run; for most of the other routes the table has no fixed price, so I quote after checking the date, the pick-up time and the vehicle. Using the form is quicker than e-mailing a list of questions.
Why practical beats fancy
Most people who contact me are not after theatre. They want to know the car will be at arrivals, that the price will not move, and that someone will answer a message the same day. That is the standard I work to, and it is why the pages here show real figures rather than “contact for prices” wherever the table has one.
A few habits keep trips smooth:
- Send flight details early. The pick-up is planned around your landing time, so a delay on your side is not a problem for the booking.
- Say how many bags. It decides whether the E-Class is enough or the V-Class is the better choice.
- Give the exact address. A hotel name alone can mean two entrances. A street number avoids a wrong drop-off.
- Tell me about the day. For hourly hire, a list of stops with approximate times lets me warn you if the plan is too tight.
How to book
- Open the quote form below or use the contact page.
- Enter the date, the pick-up point (hotel, address, terminal or port), the destination and the number of passengers with luggage.
- Say whether you want a fixed transfer or hourly hire.
- I reply by e-mail or WhatsApp with the vehicle and the price, VAT included.
- Confirm, and the trip is booked.
Useful official sources
Before a trip, these are the pages I would check: the airport’s own information at Aena Barcelona-El Prat, cruise terminal details at the Port of Barcelona, and city information at Visit Barcelona. For the terms of a booking, read the terms and conditions.
When you are ready, send the form. The earlier I have the date and the pick-up point, the sooner you have a price.
